The Church of St Mary Magdalene, Boveney
The Church of St Mary Magdalene, Boveney

Visitors Book

We opened the Church every day to the public on 11th July 2016 and we placed a Visitors Book in the Church on 17th July 2016, the day Frank Church's family were remembering their relative's life. Frank was killed at the Somme 100 years before on 19th July 1916. A plaque, in his memory, is in the Church.

Above and below are the entries made in the Visitors Book from 17th July 2016.

Many people have taken the opportunity to record their feelings about the Church now being open.

There are some potentially heart-rending comments such as "Praying for our Baby" and ones that are full of joy.

People are using the Church as a quiet place for reflection and prayer as well as just enjoying the tranquillity.

Please take a moment to read some of them:
